Zachlorou - Gorge of Vouraikos
Zachlorou is a village built in the gorge of Vouraikos, in the middle of the train route between diakofto and kalavrita. The village was built during the time that Greece was under the subjection of turkey. Very close to Zachlorou there is the monastery of Mega Spilaio. From Zachlorou there is a trail that leads to the monastery it takes only 45 minutes to get there on foot. The visitors can enjoy the beutiful nature of the village. Between the planes you will find a few restaurants, hotels and guestrooms.
